Can't really say much about the service because you deal with an automated kiosk. Same for the atmosphere, it's an airport. The food is served and also appears lazy. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel. Just look at my picture to see the meat to bread ratio. It's like having a chicken nugget in the middle of a bread roll!!!! Never again 🤬🤬🤬

The establishment looks inviting. Unfortunately the service and portions were disappointing. Paid extra for cream cheese spread and I only got a transparent layer of cream cheese on one side (not worth the 3 extra dollars). Then the sausage was mediocre in size. Basically 2-3 bites. Whole wheat bagel was good mildly toasted. I was the second patron to place an order via the kiosk ordering screen. Took the staff member 20 minutes to work on my bagel which sat waiting (so much for the hot toast) with three others. When I asked about my soft drink, the staff member could not be more annoyed at me for asking and would not even look at me. She finally pointed to the refrigerated items across the way, which I took to understand tp go grab one.

Really bad. Paid $22 with tips for the bagel, they forgot to put the egg, the bagel not even properly toasted, and disgusting. Couldn’t even finish. Sorry, I think it’s my first bad review ever, but it is what it is. Avoid at all costs.

This place sucks. I ordered a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel and received an untoasted sesame bagel with a shameful amount of cream cheese. Horrible service don’t waste your money here

Owned and operated by a New York City native who moved to the Bay Area and quickly became homesick for a great bagel. It started incredibly slowly with boiling each hand-rolled bagel one at a time in her tiny SF apartment. With the assistance of friends and coworkers, the rest is history for the owner, Reesa Kashuk, a former home cook with no professional bread experience. Located inside Terminal C of Newark Liberty Airport, I decided to try Poppy Bagels for breakfast this morning. It was made to order via the kiosks which I ordered the Turkey, Avocado, Egg Wheat Bagel. Luckily a staff member was close by on how to take out the cheese. The warm bagel was a smaller, classic navel shape and tasted bland. The portion was surprisingly huge. It’s fairly priced for an airport. The service was slow considering there were 2 staff. If one is in a hurry to catch a flight, this is not the place.
